As part of a rebuilding effort that will both “green” the City of Warren and also enhance local economic development, Dovetail Partners and the Warren Economic Development Authority (WEDA) are hosting a mini-conference on green building for homebuilders and homeowners in Northwestern Minnesota. The Green Mini-Conference for Homebuilders and Homeowners will define what green building is, showcase local green materials, explain energy-efficient techniques and green building practices, present successful case studies, describe green building programs in Minnesota, and offer floor plans and ideas for homeowners and builders interested in “green.” With the current housing market situation and prices of energy continuing to increase, learning about green building and energy efficiency is more important now than ever. The one-day event will also present information about how you can be involved in a new green development in Warren or your community. Lunch and refreshments to be provided.
