MU University Forest Environmental Education Center
I would like you to consider adding the University of Missouri's University Forest Environmental Education Center to your list. The Center supports all three functions of the Land Grant University System; teaching, research and extension. The facility is open year-round and outside groups are most definitely welcome! Here is a link to our website

Thank you for considering this request.

Forestry Education Site
You probably should add the Boulder Lake Management Area, on Boulder Lake, about 20 miles north of Duluth. a variety of environmental programs are offered here, along with a self-guided forestry trail, and environmental educators on staff. This is a cooperative effort between Minnesota Power, St. Louis County Land Department, and UMD Environmental Ed. This site has existed for about 15 years.

Forestry Education Sites
Dear Dovetail Partners, Inc:
I am the director of the University of Georgia Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center. I was made aware of your wonderful new Forestry Education Sites map via the Society of American foresters e-newsletter. I cannot tell you how pleased I am that my facility is listed on your map. However, your map lists the Warnell Forest Education Center as being located in Augusta, GA. We are actually located in Guyton, GA. Would it be possible to have this corrected?
Please contact me if I can provide you with any more information. I may be reached at glutowski@warnell.uga.edu or at (912) 330-0531.
Thank you so much!
Best of regards!
Gail Lutowski
Demo woodlots in RI
Hi,
RI Chapter of SAF, along with several land-owning partners, are in the process of developing a statewide network of demonstration woodlots. Some will be available on a regular basis, others for scheduled events.
RIFCO (www.rifco.org) owns one of these lots, a hardwood stand with a two acre clearing, and the State of RI, Division of Forest Environment owns a 20 acre pine stand that is currently being improved for demo purposes. We'd like to add those two initial sites to your map if we can.
Marc Tremblay, CF, RIFCO Outreach Coordinator
