WEBINAR: Forest Management Guidelines Audit Updates

During the spring and summer of 2011 MN DNR monitored 85 timber harvest sites in MN for implementation of timber harvest guidelines identified in Sustaining Minnesota Forest Resources: Voluntary Site-Level Forest Management Guidelines for Landowners, Loggers and Resource Managers.  Implementation monitoring of these guidelines has been conducted on public and private forestlands since 2000. This webinar will briefly summarize results from the 2011 monitoring and attempt to assess trends in implementation levels over time, as well as provide recommendations for improving implementation of the timber harvesting and forest management guidelines.
