Join Dovetail Partners at the 2014 National Association of State Foresters Annual Meeting

Working Forests Work

(Minneapolis, MN) - Join Dovetail Partners, a Minneapolis-based environmental think-tank at the 2014 National Association of State Foresters (NASF) Annual Meeting. This year's theme is Working Forests Work. This event will bring together the nation's state foresters, national forestry and wildfire leaders and partners to work on keeping forests healthy and productive.

Jeff Howe, Dovetail's President and Chair, will be taking part in a session panel focused on forestry markets and innovations on September 24th at 1:30pm. Perspectives on the benefits of wood, observations from a recent White House Rural Council meeting, and thoughts on promoting wood use with policymakers will be addressed in the presentation.

This year's NASF Meeting will take place in Minnesota. With 17.4 million acres of forestland Minnesota is a great location to showcase innovative approaches for maintaining healthy forests. The location of this year's meeting provides diverse field trip opportunities to see everything from school forests to forest nurseries to wildfire aviation.

The NASF Annual Meeting will take place at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul - Riverfront Hotel in St. Paul, Minnesota.
