Join Dovetail Partners at the New England Society of American Foresters Annual Meeting


Dovetail's executive director to present keynote on the future of America's forests


(Nashua, NH) - Join Dovetail Partners, a Minneapolis-based environmental think-tank, on March 25th at the 2014 New England Society of American Foresters Annual Meeting. The New England SAF holds a society-wide meeting each year based around a theme, and includes technical programs and business meetings. This year's theme is "Resources-Resilience-Renewal-Restoration" and is being hosted by the Granite State Division. SAF members, non-members and students are encouraged to attend the three-day event. CFE and CEU licensing credits are available to attendees.


Dovetail's Executive Director, Kathryn Fernholz, will present the event's keynote "The Next 100 Years of Forests in the U.S. - Growing the Forests We Want". The presentation will address America's past forest land restoration and protection successes while highlighting current and future challenges, including land use changes, development, invasive species, climate change and more. Fernholz will also address ways in which we can continue to sustainably manage America's forest lands over the next 100 years while maintaining resource availability, recreation opportunities, wildlife habitat, water resources, and public health.
