Dovetail's Project Manager for Recycling and Reuse to Address Wastewood Utilization



(Minneapolis, MN) - Join Dovetail Partners in Fairfax, Virginia on August 30th for the Northern Virginia Urban Forestry Quarterly Roundtable.  The topic for the day is "Forest Health Challenges: Locality Planning and Response".  The event will be held at the Fairfax County Government Center from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm and has been approved for 3.5 ISA CEUs.

On the agenda is Steve Bratkovich, Project Manager for Recycling and Reuse with Dovetail Partners.  Steve will be addressing "Wastewood Utilization from Chronic Forest Health Situations". 
Steve Bratkovich, Ph.D., has over three decades of forestry and forest products experience. His areas of expertise include business, marketing and strategic planning; urban wood utilization; primary and secondary wood processing; and sustainable forest management. Steve has authored over 150 forestry-related publications, articles and reports, and is a frequent contributor to forestry and industry trade journals. He served as an Associate Editor to the Journal of Forestry for six years, and is a ‘contributing writer’ to Sawmill and Woodlot Management magazine with a focus on business management and wood utilization.  His most recent urban wood utilization work includes research completed in Richmond, Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina.  Reports from these projects are available at the Dovetail Partners website
