Dovetail Partners Welcomes Kate Shelton of 3M to the Board of Directors

26 July 2022 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN— Dovetail Partners, Inc. is pleased to welcome Kate Shelton to the Board of Directors.

Kate Shelton is the Global Responsible Sourcing Manager at 3M. 3M believes science helps create a brighter world for everyone. By unlocking the power of people, ideas and science to reimagine what's possible, our global team uniquely addresses the opportunities and challenges of our customers, communities, and planet. 

With over 16 years of experience in corporate responsible sourcing, Kate provides extensive knowledge and skills related to renewable materials, sustainability, and social and environmental risk mitigation across the supply chain. Kate has been with 3M for over 6 years, all within Responsible Sourcing and manages the company’s strategy and implementation of their Forest Products Sourcing Policy and other renewable material due diligence. 

Prior to joining 3M, Kate worked at Target Corporation for 10 years, mostly in Responsible Sourcing, including Social Compliance across the global supply chain and managing the Product Safety Investigations & Recall Team. She is passionate about working within the supply chain on Social and Environmental topics, including where the two areas overlap into actions to address Environmental Justice.
